ANTHEA receives Special Export award
15. Nov. 2006ANTHEA was awarded the “Special Export Award" by AWEX (Wallonia Foreign Trade Agency, Belgium).
This prize rewards the rapid development of the company’s international activities over the last three years and, particularly, the success of its subsidiary that began doing business in France six years ago in the Sophia-Antipolis hi-tech park.
Founded in 1993 and a pioneer in using internet technologies and the electronic exchange of documents, ANTHEA is resolutely focused on international markets. However, this does not keep the Franco-Belgian company from working with the largest hi-tech companies in France.
According to Myriam Perez and Yves Vanneste, co-founders and managers of the company: “Our financial figures show very positive results: From 2003 to 2005, our sales increased 145% and our exports tripled. Our offices in Paris give us a hi-tech business card that perfectly matches the profile of our clients: IT, telecommunications, technology, and medicine. In 2005, they accounted for 60% of our overall exports. Our growth rate will enable us to work our way up among the ranks of the top translation companies in the world by 2010.
Since ANTHEA was created, we have striven to share our company's values with our international clients which are based on listening to the customer, long-term partnerships, continual skills development, and teamwork. We also recently renewed our ISO 9001-2000 certification for the seventh consecutive year.”

The audit was performed by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVQI), and demonstrated full compliance of our Quality System with requirements regarding project management, solutions development, commitment to customer satisfaction and personnel selection and training.
Since 1993, ANTHEA Languages has been delivering language services and solutions to major customers worldwide. New on line resource management system
28. Juli 2006ANTHEA has just released a new on line portal dedicated to the management of their translators, graphic designers and engineers.
This new extranet system is part of our global management system (ERP) which is currently being developed by our in-house IT staff. Our translators are now able to create and update their profile through a simple internet browser. The system is then used by our project managers to allocate projects to the most appropriate resources. The link to this portal is available in our "Jobs" section.
New offices. New staff. More expertise
4. Januar 2006ANTHEA Languages keeps moving fast in 2006, with the opening of a new office in Brussels, an extended production platform on the French Riviera, and increased engineering/ testing and project management capacities.
Three localization engineers, four project managers and two language leads have joined our teams in Belgium and France. Our technologies Anthe@TMS and Anthe@Workflow are available or in the last stages of development, and several major contracts are about to be concluded this quarter.
New version of Anthe@TMS released
3. Januar 2006In order to streamline the process of managing and updating our customers’ multilingual documents, ANTHEA has developed a very powerful web-based translation management system: ANTHE@TMS.
Any authorized user in your company can access our document management platform to view, add and update documents and objects in any language.
Each time a document is added or updated, it is compared against existing older versions. The system detects similar text segments that can be re-used from these text files. Only updated sections of the document will be translated. The system generates an alert to a pre-identified project manager at ANTHEA, with the instruction to translate it into all other languages of the system, or to send you a budget quote for your approval.
Managing the various language versions of your documents is therefore significantly easier. ANTHE@TMS helps you save time and money, while ensuring consistency of your corporate contents in all languages.
For more information, contact us at or download the Anthe@TMS fact sheet from our "Downloads" page.
